What we collect
There is no account system, no contact form and no newsletter, so we hold no personal data about you.
The site does store a few things in your browser's local storage. These stay on your device and are never transmitted anywhere — you can clear them at any time through your browser, and the site keeps working without them:
- Your light or dark theme preference.
- The last few values you entered in each tool, so you can restore them.
- A count of how often you open each tool, used to order the “Your tools” shortcuts.
- Which tools you have pinned.
When you send one tool's output to another, that value is held in session storage for the moment it takes to navigate, then removed. Session storage is cleared when you close the tab.
What happens to data you paste into a tool
It stays on your device. Every tool is JavaScript executing in your browser; the site is a set of static files with no backend to receive input. Text you paste, files you drop onto a tool, and results you generate are never uploaded, logged, or stored anywhere. Closing the tab discards them.
You can confirm this yourself: open any tool, disconnect from the network, and keep using it. If it still works, nothing was being sent.
Third-party services
This site loads Google Analytics, which records page views and approximate location, and sets cookies in your browser. That data is processed by Google under its own privacy policy and may be transferred outside your country. It measures which pages are visited — it does not and cannot see anything you type into a tool, because that never leaves your device.
You can opt out with Google's browser add-on, with any tracker-blocking extension, or by enabling “Do Not Track”. Blocking it does not affect any tool on this site.
The site is served by a content delivery network, which necessarily processes the connection itself (your IP address and the requested URL) in order to deliver the page, in the same way any web host must. That data is used only to serve the request and to mitigate abuse.
Your rights under GDPR and similar laws
Rights such as access, correction, erasure, and portability apply to personal data that an organisation holds about you. We hold none ourselves; the analytics provider named above processes page-view data under its own policy, and you can exercise your rights against it directly or block it outright. If you believe otherwise, contact us and we will investigate.
Children
The site is a general-purpose developer utility and is not directed at children. As no personal data is collected from anyone, none is collected from children either.
Changes to this policy
If the site ever changes in a way that affects this policy — for example if a feature required a server — this page will be updated before that feature ships, and the date at the top will change.
